Cheap roll up banner stands have average weight of around 1.8 kilos for 90cm x 200 cm systems. These are very flimsy and have a thin plastic tube inside to hold, vital winding spring. These tubes usually fail during transport even with slight rough handling.
There are better systems available, which have aluminum tube bilding the spring system and body is made from single solid aluminum cast. These weight around 5 kilos and are very strong and take lots of banging around in transportation.
Side plate usually is ABS chrome plated and hides winder tightening, systems thereby preventing failure.
